On May 9, 1997, we received THE phone call from our local office of
Holt International Children's Services. Our wait was over. The Chinese
government had chosen our daughter. How did we suddenly become a Mom and
Dad?
Linda and "the babe" minutes after receiving her
in Nanning, China, July 6, 1997. Sadly, Linda passed away from cancer on
April 10, 2002.
